Funny thing about #Music and #SelfHosting Now that I have my music locally and not in a cloud through some streaming service, I notice that there was normally a "big" wait from the time I pressed the play button until the song actually played compared to the self hosting way. Now the music plays instantly..

    Reminds me of a time long gone when #WinAMP and #XMMS were the default players of local media!

    God it's good to be back..

  21. The rabbit hole kept getting deeper and ended up with me finding a screenshot of my #Linux desktop from about August, 2000.

    Probably noteworthy is the fact I'm running a #Napster client and #XMMS for my tunes. Also I'm SSHed into one of my servers as root.
