Just finished painting these 60 mm plastic miniatures with army painter speed paints. I actually know nothing of the origin of these figures. They are labeled 'marching GI's' and seem to be a Chinese copy of some old toy soldiers from the 60's. Another couple of evenings work and I finished my Mega-Squiggoth from Troublemaker Games. Such a fun model and so easy to paint up because of all the details. I was a fool and should have added my Ork crew after painting, but otherwise it’s been great.

Between all kinds of Christmas prep and activity, alongside the hobby lull caused by waiting on my Baccus Gauls (they are now posted 🤩), I’ve not done much the past couple of weeks.

This morning however I spent an hour finishing off this Devastator detachment for my Celebrants 4th Co. This finished the whole company, I think I started them in February. 🤦🏻‍♂️

My son has finished his girst ‘proper’ models this evening. We are both feeling very proud, he has followed the Warhammer youtube guide as closely as he can and is hoping to try out Kill Team as soon as he has a full force complete.

I’ve taken the weathring further than I normally go, which was fun. The launching rocket option was just too tempting to not do.

The STL is from Gregsters Lab, avaiable on the Vanguard Miniatures site, the infantry, flyer and bikes are Grudd figures from Onslaught Miniatures.

Feels like something I see more in historical figures (Cannons & Tanks) rather than Sci-fi.

I’m otherwise approaching finished on the Squat Colossus. Smoke, an engine glow, and perhaps a crew member for scale.
