Over the past few days, I managed to finish (I think) the Herald of Tzeentch on Burning Chariot.
It's a large model, but I painted it in multiple sub assemblies and over a long period of time so it didn't feel overwhelming and I enjoyed painting it.

Line Breaker
The Warmaster Titan project marches on. I've reached a point on the base where I feel comfortable attaching the miniature to it.
There's two decking screws up through the cargo containers and one through the bottom of the other foot. In both cases construction adhesive is attaching it to the base.
I experimented with making a scale chainlink fence that the Titan is crashing through.@warhammer40k

Goopey nougat... I mean homemade texture paste applied to the base. Made from a small tub of sanded grout mix with crumbled cork and kosher salt chunks added for texture. I mixed in some brown paint to get it relatively close to Agrellan Earth since that's what I use on all the knights. I'm hoping after drybrushing it'll be close enough to pass.

Another major milestone on the Warmaster Titan: I've magnetized the arms. I was going to skip this at first but then I realized if I didn't, transporting this monster would be a disaster. This is the first time I'm seeing it fully together and I'm loving the lumbering gorilla look to it. Not only is it very menacing but knowing gorillas this thing could spring into deadly action at any moment.

In order to speed up the deal with my grey mass, I concluded to, for each project, decide how much I care. If I really want a project to be to the best of my skill, I'd go for the usual paints. If I do not care that much, if I just want to have the minis play-ready, I would paint them with speed paints mostly.
So this is the first Warband I paint following that concept. Speed paints, true metallics, and a just a tip of normal acrylics for edge highlighting and only in the main surfaces. These were around 8hrs, which might sound like a lot, but it is still way faster than my usual rate. 😅

I tried my best for the golden NMM. I'd say is the best NMM golden I've done till date, but I feel they are missing more shine.
Also, in the picture you can't see well, I tried to do marble ground.

Well, the Wizard Lizards season has now ended.
We lost to our League rivals the New Ork Giants in a drag out grudge-match. Star Player Anqi Panqi was pretty much shutout of doing anything, but Piq'Ante the Kroxigor was very well behaved and only Bone Headed once!

I apologize for not posting for a month: I developed an illness that took far too long to get over.
But enough excuses! The Wizard Lizards have made it into the quarter-finals! Tonight's match against the District Drakillas ended in a 2-1 victory during overtime.
