Tonight, I kept painting the left side of the back of my daemon prince.
The wing muscles and leg are now done.
The colors are quite saturated, but I don't think it feels too out of place.Now I need to paint the other side the same way.

I think I reached a good stopping point, I need to do the wing arm, leg, the other side and the tail.As the base is purple, I think it will be a nice bounce light.

I love that Games Workshop not only gave the new (relatively, it's about nine months out now) Lucius-mini HOOF-HIGH-HEELS, but also matching garters for his leg armour!
I am not saying, high heels with hooves and digilegs are a very practical idea, but, boy, does he rock it!

Lucius and his incredible giraffe tongue.
They redesigned his juice dispensers on the new model, but kept his tongue, I appreciate this.I'm still very salty they made him ugly again, but at least not as ugly as his dad. Emperor's Children can't win with Games Workshop's sculptors, but as long as there's 3rd party designers making heads with beautiful faces, there's something I can do about it. 😊

I realized post-hoc that if I wanted to field my Traitor Enforcers they needed Ogryn Bodyguards. They're not quite Ogryn, but these mutants are certainly fit for purpose.

My Word Bearers Raptor is done.
I've given him some luxurious gold leaf rocks to hover over. And some red-purple soil so that everything matches nicely in terms of colour.
Again, I've learned a lot from this guy.

Next work in progress - my Word Bearers raptor.
As planned I started with the metals and gave him a gradient from grey to bronze.
Then I started basepainting him and, boy, all those details nearly made my hand cramp and now I have to take a break.
I'm planning on at least finishing basepainting the armour this weekend.
So far I like the little guy.
