Ded Khleo, a Weirdnob Shaman, acts as the ship's navigator; partly because they can actualy read maps, but mostly because they have zero patience for the crew's nonsense and just doesn't want the idiots to decide where the ship goes. Will gladly feed anyone who talks back to the sharks.

The crew are genuinely terrified of making Ded Khleo angry because they're known to hold grudges, and carry out cold-blooded revenge plots.

I'm starting to paint my "converted" old daemon prince of Tzeentch.
I say converted, but I just swapped the head.

As the model is rather large, I'm trying something new.
I'm wet blending straight on the model, trying to place shadows and mid tones.
There is some stuff I'm not happy with, so I will come back at it tomorrow after it dries out.

Still not sure about the color palette.

A wild new project appears!

We all know, the era of the Mini of the Month is ending.
Yesterday I got the last one. Those fun little plastic treats always gave me joy in throwing new factions at me. So I want to make the last one special.
I will try to make him into a statue, to commemorate those fun first Saturdays every month.

Over the past few days, I managed to finish (I think) the Herald of Tzeentch on Burning Chariot.

It's a large model, but I painted it in multiple sub assemblies and over a long period of time so it didn't feel overwhelming and I enjoyed painting it.
I still suck at metallics, but I'm happy with what I have done everywhere else.

Today I'll bring them to the "fighting pit"-event at the Warhammer Store. One mini per person, no named characters, no vehicles.
It's just good fun. Last year I brought my Paz'uz and came in third place. And I think that's very respectable with nearly twenty participants.
This year I won't be able to rely on any cuteness factor, so I guess my poor demon will get mobbed. 😂

When I arrived at the store, all the big, cool demon parts were already gone. So I made do with what was left.
