Realized after I painted this guy that if I went Red and Gold, and the Centurion has that sharp T visor, that I COULD have given it a Samus Aran motif. Anyway, happy Samus is a Very Hungry Girl trailer reveal date #battletech #minipainting

The artist clearly spent time planning the visual hierarchy of color to ensure nothing clashes despite a high detail density.

Indeed, what immediately surprised me was the almost lifelike intensity captured in such a small scale - especially the illumination effect in her outstretched hand. It’s likely done with OSL, where the green glow softly diffuses onto her bracer and sleeve.
