It’s been quite a long time since I finished any minis… I’ve been a bit more focused on playing than painting. Also new job stuff has been keeping me busy. But anyway, five more Hybrid Metamorphs just joined the clan, bringing the model count to 75.

Just worked out that it's theoretically possible to field 201 miniatures in a 2K #GenestealerCults army (6 x 20 Neophytes, 6 x 10 Tacos, 2 x 10 Flacos and 1 Magus). Not sure why you'd want to, other than to see the look on the opponent's face...

Did a bit of touching up on the Ridgerunner but it’s too hot to make much painting progress. So instead I played with my toy soldiers and put a family photo together – currently at 1,280 points painted.

Making good progress on the Achilles Ridgerunner – I was dreading painting this but have enjoyed it way more than I expected.
I got a bit carried away with edge highlighting the tyres – transitions are a bit stark and messy, but I kinda like the resulting cartoony look. It also looks better from a distance.
Trying to forget the point when I edge highlighted the whole hull with a *darker* colour by mistake and had to redo them all. 🤦♂️
