I'm starting to paint my "converted" old daemon prince of Tzeentch.
I say converted, but I just swapped the head.

As the model is rather large, I'm trying something new.
I'm wet blending straight on the model, trying to place shadows and mid tones.
There is some stuff I'm not happy with, so I will come back at it tomorrow after it dries out.

Still not sure about the color palette.

It's #hobbystreak day 22, day 11 of painting my lizardmen blood bowl team and I'm calling it here. I estimate that I put about 13 hours work in over those 11 days. Means I averaged about 1 hour per model. Pretty happy with that!

Over the past few days, I managed to finish (I think) the Herald of Tzeentch on Burning Chariot.

It's a large model, but I painted it in multiple sub assemblies and over a long period of time so it didn't feel overwhelming and I enjoyed painting it.
I still suck at metallics, but I'm happy with what I have done everywhere else.

I highlighted the whites with actual white and added pitch markings to the bases. Tomorrow I'm just going to wash the eyes with a yellow ink and finish the base rims and I'll call them there.

I'm keeping up my new daily routine.
Today my brush licking led me to paint some books and feathers.

I still have one book and a few scrolls, but things are nicely coming together.

Very satisfying pace and progress.

Between yesterday and today, I've been making some progress on my Herald of Tzeentch.

The scepter is almost done. Most of the work remaining is on the outer disc.

It feels good to be able to paint multiple days in a row and see progress.

I spent the day dusting my #gunpla, and packing them into moving boxes. I haven't cleaned them since I moved here 4 years ago.
I don't think I will ever put so many out without display cases.
I still have some from the previous apartment (or work place) that I never took out of their storage boxes...

I'm glad my #warhammer models are all in sealed containers. Even if I can't display them.

Also farewell to my airbrush booth and my dry brush palette.
