I've been working on a little #diorama to display some of my #ClanJadeFalcon units. Some dust got into the speed paint so there are some defects I need to cover up, and I dropped it which damaged it near the rear squad of elementals. I've patched it up with putty and sanded the side reasonably smooth but it still needs to be repainted. It also needs a bit more mica flake to make the snow glitter. I may also dry brush a bit of mica flake on the trees.

In between working on Exo, I’ve been madly working on terrain and miniatures for all sorts of systems. From The Old World to Kill Team, The Silver Bayonet and more.
My current fixation.. possession? Is Trench Crusade. Really enjoying the rules, but honestly just won't ever get time to actually play it with anyone.
So.
15mm Solo Trench Crusade it is.

Another experiment for a snow base. This was air dry clay sculpted with some silicone tools and smoothed out with a wet finger. I expected it to fall off and need glue once dry, but it stuck firmly.
Primed and painted white, then highlord blue diluted with a lot of speedpaint medium. Drybrushed white. Varnished with a little bit of silver mixed in to add sparkle. Then high matte varnish.

Trying out ideas for basing. All of these start as white dollar store acrylic with baking soda added to form a paste then varying combinations of sprinkling more soda over top, varnishing, and painting with various techniques.

I have to admit that I'm a bit of a hoarder at times... and I tend to save a lot of the offcuts from my crafting projects in a couple of small boxes (one for the paper printouts, and one for scrap card/foamcore).
And every now and again I like to dig through them and have a go at making something... I don't really have a plan... anything will do.
So here's tonight's experiment - a narrow dungeon entrance/exit:
