There's a new gaming venue opened up that I pretty much walk past to get home at night. They've announced an Necromunda (N26) campaign starting in October. I've never played but it's reputation is impressive. Think I've managed to put together a legal list, now to actually build and paint them

Got some goodies arriving from Wayland Games tomorrow... Some brushes for painting terrain pieces I've been working on, a Balsa Stripper (it's for cutting strips of Balsa, but I'll be using it for heavy card), and some UV resins which I'm really excited to try out - I want to see if I can use them as gap-fillers.
Oh, might have bought an Orlock gang as well.

I've been scratch-building some bits of terrain for Necromunda and started greebling a couple of pieces today. Somehow they're starting to look like they're from the set of a forgotten early 80s episode of Dr Who.

One thing that would have been useful to know before I bought this thing....
If you like Necromunda for creating your gang and picking out all the wargear, that's not in this set. I'm a bit pissed off that wasn't more clear, so now I've had to buy the Gangs book for the gang gear and setup rules.
That's quite a major part of the game, GW. Yes, I'm looking at you.

Little late night hobby time: finished building the Palanite Enforcer Tauros Venator my son got me for my birthday.
I even managed to magnetise the turret guns.
I want to try a paint scheme inspired by the Hoonigan Brataroo on a vehicle and this might be the one to get it, though im not sure it’s got quite enough bodywork for the effect. Something like the Achilles Ridgerunner or even the Boomdakka Snazzwagon might work better.

Faltan dos semanas para que el nuevo Necromunda llegue a las tiendas y las reglas están tan finas que ya ha salido un combo absolutamente rotísimo.
Para los Ash Waste Nomads.
Su regla de banda es que, tras realizar el despliegue de la banda pero antes de tirar la primera iniciativa, pueden intercambiar entre sí la posición de dos combatientes.
Los Sha'dar Hunters tienen infiltración, lo que les permite desplegar en cualquier lugar del campo de batalla a 9" o más de un enemigo.
Pues despliegas un hunter bien cerquita y luego le intercambias posición con un Arthromite Duneskuttler, que es una pedazo de bestia machacadora (y que no tiene infiltración, claro).

I very rarely get things on the day of release or on pre-order, the only other thing I can think of was Cyberpunk 2077 a few years ago.

Second day where it's been too hot to do anything in the home studio (plus I had to take the buns to the vets for their introductory check-up).
I've been making some progress on my Palanite Enforcer gang, they're very nearly half done (these moulds are pretty awful, they need a load of filling and scraping to make them halfway paintable!).
New Necromunda starter set comes into preorder on Saturday as well, I'm really, really tempted...
