Little late night hobby time: finished building the Palanite Enforcer Tauros Venator my son got me for my birthday.
I even managed to magnetise the turret guns.
I want to try a paint scheme inspired by the Hoonigan Brataroo on a vehicle and this might be the one to get it, though im not sure it’s got quite enough bodywork for the effect. Something like the Achilles Ridgerunner or even the Boomdakka Snazzwagon might work better.

Their breaching drill is ready. I added some piping on the top so they can reroute power from the melta inside to momentarily increase top speed for ramming.

Oh Christ! Just accidentally watched a Youtube short in which an American (yes, it was a Murcan) pronounces the word "Automata" as ""arda-marda". He also pronounced "Necromunda" as "Neck-ro-MOON-duh".
I tell you, we're in the End Times.

I didn't really pay attention to the painting guides set out by Games Workshop. I pretty much ignored everything except for the.....

This is Dear Prudence. I used some Vallejo gloss acrylic varnish on the boots which has given them a really nice shine. The gold pieces are painted with AK Interactive True Metal gold wax and then sealed with gloss varnish before being given a thin brown glaze/wash.
Trivia point: Dear Prudence was originally by The Beatles, but became one of Siouxsie's defining songs.

Next up, this is Candy Tree, another gang sister.
One of the difficulties photographing the models is the narrow depth of field you get with a macro lens. Stopping the lens down doesn't increase the D-o-F much and means doubling the shutter time for every increase in f-stop on the lens.

Another one of my #Escher #Necromunda gangers. This is (Pink) Pink Sunshine.
I had lots of fun painting and naming these figures. I am slowly improving with the paintbrush, but still have a lot to learn! Model paints have evolved massively since I first got into wargaming in the mid-late 80s!

I got some photos of my #Escher #Necromunda gang. I didn't get any useable ones of the gang Queen, I't really difficult to get crisp handheld macro pictures, even with image stabilisation.
This is the Matriarch, Scarecrow. I've named them all after women-fronted bands or solo artists, or their songs.
Scarecrow is by Siouxsie & The Banshees, from their Peepshow album. -
