@cflynnbooks so what do you think of #ArmyPainter, I bought the big set to start painting because they were cheap, and still I have not yet finished it so I have no real comparison. Later I bought 4 individual #AK and saw no difference with ArmyPainter.

Have my Mexican Lost Army troops ready for the session tomorrow. Used #armypainter acrylics for a change, with a Sepia wash to get that weathered look, and the mummified flesh.

They are nasty in #shadowsofbrimstone - NEVER stand where they can approach you in formation, those volleys kill you quickly.

Uniform I chose is based on the #mexican army of #SantaAnna 1835ish, summer colours, grenadiers. I liked the clean look.

Some new paints arrived! I'm looking forward to giving these a try and trying to paint in the John Blanche style. It's been a long time since I've used The Army Painter paints, but I've heard they have gotten a lot better in recent years.

Base coating Orlok from #Nosferatu

I still have to mask and paint the cuffs and collar, but the parts need to bake for a bit.

Colors are mostly #ArmyPainter #Warpaints , thinned with #Vallejo Airbrush Thinner and Flow Improver, sprayed through my #Paasche Talon airbrush.

Next up is the base, but that'll mostly be craft paint brushing, washes and dry-brushing. It's the no-fuss part of the build.
