  7. #Neutron offers three mission profiles: return-to-launch-site (RTLS) for propulsive landings back at #Wallops’ Launch Complex 3 (LC-3)*; down-range landing (DRL) for precision ocean touchdowns, maximizing performance; and fully expendable configurations that boost the rocket’s payload capacity from 13,000 kg to 15,000 kg. Stage two sits entirely inside stage one, with fairings that open rather than separating from the vehicle nasaspaceflight.com/2025/10/be

Capture expected tomorrow. This was pretty incredible to watch in person, the video didn't really capture the way the sound felt.

  21. #introduction

Hi all! I'm an inactive Twitter lurker coming over to join the fun here. It's been about a week and I can confidently say I like this platform way more. No ads, no garbage, just interesting posts from interesting people. And as such I'm going to try to be a bit more active here.

A little about me - I'm an infosec engineer at a nonprofit in #nyc where I usually dabble in just about everything and anything security at some point. We typically rely on a lot of creative #opensource security solutions and then some #python glue code to tie those disparate solutions together which makes for a fun, unique, time.

I got into the security field early in my life, like many others, by asking the questions how and why. I quickly became fascinated with web applications, and the underlying infrastructure that supported them. And the obvious path from there to the "what happens if" aspect of security. I grew to learn #php and ended up creating and hosting a lot of random side project applications through high school.

I've carried this forward to now, except I've graduated from php to python. Lately I've been enjoying data scraping and collection. I'm not much of a data scientist, but I pretend.

I've also been getting into #homeautomation with #homeassistant, purchased a couple #esp32 boards to collect data, automatically watering my basil plant, etc. I also supported the #WiCAN product, a USB/wifi #CANBUS connector, on Crowd Supply, and am looking forward to tinkering with that.

I just got back from Florida, witnessing #SLS, currently the world's largest #rocket, kicking off the #artemis 1 mission...finally! Man that thing was bright! I never got to see a #SpaceShuttle launch, so I felt this was an important milestone in our #space program to witness. It is so awe-inspiring watching a rocket launch, if you haven't seen one I can't recommend it enough. Looking forward to seeing #rocketlab at #wallops soon!

    I do try to get #outdoors frequently, and enjoy #hiking, #camping - and while I'm not a photographer, I enjoy #photography!
