It means that the previous version was successful enough and the author had enough time and energy to work on the better one. Even when it feels like iterative upgrade, I’m paying for person tending to my apps, not for features.

@jarunmb #AppleNotes is a really, really good tool. For people/families wholesale invested in Apple's ecosystem it's superb - despite a couple of bizarre quirks like not being able to set a default font for newly-composed notes nor literally ANY ability to change font when using the iPhone.
For #Windows though, fuck it and in particular FUCK #Drafts for not having a Windows version. #Obsidian is king. It's the loincloth-wearing, top-of-the-mountain uber-pinnacle of PKM.

An update to my original “How I Journal” post from last year using #AppleNotes, #DraftsApp, and #Shortcuts. I updated the screen shots and included my new Shortcut that adds photos and screenshots directly into my daily #Journal note.

@viharm @jarunmb Don't get me wrong. I never said it didn't "work" for me. It did - for a full year. But here's the thing. I have two requirements for notes. One is immediate quick notes - what a lot of people use #AppleNotes, or #Drafts for. But I have #WINDOWS as well. Neither of those work. I use #Simplenote for it. Syncs multiplatform and I could give a fuck about it not being end-to-end secured. #Obsidian for cold-storage of notes. (1/3)

Disappointed for #GeorgeRussell that his #W14’s race pace wasn’t great today. Hopefully they got some good data on the long runs and the tyre deg to come back stronger next race. #LewisHamilton stronger than George but still off pace. I’m doubtful upgrades will fix the problem.
