Just had a lovely meeting in the alpine bar in #Bournemouth on a very wet December evening with m'colleagues from the little team that made the town centre summit two weeks ago today. Change can feel weird and uncomfortable, but it feels too like we took the first step for my brilliant and frustrating home town.

Helping to creatively make the place where we live and feel we should be, that's how we make the futures we want.

Arts By the Sea launch last night. My privilege to host the gathering and introduce legends of creative leadership where I live, and move among loads more of them. That was my "moment" already - this year's theme. That its makers made such inspiring speeches after such a day is utterly phenomenal. Still processing.

Began watching Wonder Woman 1984 on Saturday night, because it was too hard not to. It was also too hard to finish. Sunday night, Michael Radford's 1984 was so much easier to watch we didn't even notice what happened there.

They seem like radically different futures set forty years ago and yet.
