So, I have decided to install Adaptive Theme on my Drupal pages. Eventually I will try and build themes from scratch, but for now I want to save a bit of time and focus on the looks and such.

#ThemeingSo I am thinking on how to present my sites some and I can't really get past the idea of having a background that sort of looks like the textured outsides of the older computers like a TRS-80, Apple IIe, or the beige towers I grew up looking at.
A theme for my free writing page keeps wanting to have a background of dark reddish brown leather.
... I remember when we did all of that for our web pages as just people having fun. Not being professional, but being fun.
Am I just getting old?

Does anyone know a good CSS effect the make a background more like reflective glass then blurred glass?

So I got it in my head to put together some color pallets for CSS and Enlightenment Themes. I have a few ideas to work on and will try to make them nice.
I will share what I come up with later.

#RetroAestheticsI went looking for Images of TRS-80 Model III and Apple IIe computers so I could do some color picking. Looking for back ground colors and accents that look similar to the 80s and 90s colors. Everything was silver, Beige/White, and Black back then.
Will probably at least try and figure out more.

Was trying to find a way in CSS to create a Gradiant line that goes from dark red to Deep Green with Orange and Yellow in the middle as a sort of battery fuel gage.
Still trying.
