  1. Has anyone made both YouTube and Twitch alerts work at the same time with #StreamerBot (especially on #Linux with wine)?

Might be a good way for me to finally ditch the last thing I've been using #StreamElements for

I really need to check to make sure I'm not using any of their stuff!

    Here's a quick rundown of what's inside:

🕵️‍♂️ FamousSparrow's Return: The Chinese government-backed hacking group is back, targeting organizations in North America. Important distinction: ESET insists on tracking them separately from Salt Typhoon. Remember to prioritize TTPs and IOCs/IOAs accordingly!

🗄️ RedCurl's Ransomware Twist: This corporate espionage group is now deploying "QWCrypt" ransomware, targeting Hyper-V servers. Phishing emails with malicious IMG attachments are the initial attack vector.

😬 StreamElements Data Breach: A third-party service provider suffered a breach, exposing data of 210,000 customers.!

🏛️ NSW Court System Data Theft: Sensitive documents, including AVOs, were stolen from the NSW Online Registry website. This could have serious consequences for victims of domestic violence.

👨‍🎓 NYU Website Defacement: A hacker compromised NYU's website, leaking personal data of over 1 million students. Even with good intentions, the collateral damage is unacceptable.

💰 Defense Contractor Fined: MORSE Corp will pay millions for failing to meet federal cybersecurity requirements. Third-party risk management is crucial!

🤖 Atlantis AIO Automates Credential Stuffing: This new platform automates credential stuffing attacks against 140 online services. Stay vigilant against brute force attacks!

🚨 Chrome Zero-Day Exploited: Google patched a zero-day vulnerability exploited in espionage campaigns targeting Russian organizations. Keep your browsers updated!

👦 UK Warns of 'Com Networks': The UK's NCA is warning of a growing threat from online networks of teenage boys who are "dedicated to inflicting harm and committing a range of criminality." A very worrying trend that we need to be aware of.

  12. Today we're continuing #Avowed as we progress to the end of the story? I think? I'm not to the 4th region yet sooooo...

We're also starting a new #StreamElements sponsorship today and I'd love your help to earn some extra money! #ad

    Live all day -> twitch.tv/revealingtoomuch

  13. I moved from #StreamElements to #Firebot now. That is, simple commands (like !rainbow and !pride), as well as events (follow and raid) that required some custom HTML. The only thing I didn't know how to do was get the feed for recent events working, but I can (go) live without that.

    #SelfHosting #VTuber

  14. #StreamElements just sent an email announcing a merger of its merch thing with Fourthwall. As someone who never did much with StreamElements and uses Fourthwall, good news: it's pretty good!

See a real store in action here: shop.kyefox.com/

  15. So last night I started simulcasting my live streaming to both #Twitch and #Youtube with #restream

Hopefully it will give people more options to watch, and my VODs will be in a more permanent location.

Now if only the #streamelements Login system wasn't glitching out for me, I might be able to do something about overlays

  16. I’m also just surprised some version of this doesn’t exist as a service provided by #Streamlabs or #Streamelements. I think data like this would be interesting for long-term viewers that could just view their metrics live via chat command or via an external site (another project I’ve been thinking about).

  17. CW: Israel-Palestine + Streaming

Oof, just found out #StreamElements is based in Israel and is standing with the IDF. Time to look at something else to switch to for my stream alerts and all that. Free Palestine!!!

  18. WELLP #StreamElements seems to have been compromised. Their website has an outage and now their Discord server has been completely hijacked, renamed, and flooded with bots and malicious links. Don't click anything!

  19. Sudden realization: I used #Windows due to a flair of #OBS (SE.Live to be precise), but now that I don't use #StreamElements anymore (#Owncast rocks!)... Oh boy.

I should get a fresh new SSD and install once again #Linux. I've been out of the distro market for a year or so, I should also check up the news in this sector :geralt_lol:

    #linuxgaming

  20. Things I want to do today, but will struggle to make myself today:

    * Decide what overlay types I want in StreamElements.
    * Use existing overlays, tinker with existing ones, or make my own overlays.
    * Set these overlays up in OBS.
    * Decide on an achieveable, regular stream schedule that won't conflict with @DarkEden.
    * Decide what games I want to start streaming.

    #EvieTherapyMoodDiary #ToDoList #OBS #StreamElements #streaming #Twitch #gaming #trans #transgender #neurodivergent #AuDHD

  21. i was trying to make a single overlay on #StreamElements for a bunch of the alerts and images on my current in #OBS, but everything was zoomed in :(

    --

anyway, im streaming #MurderByNumbers again. starting up Case 3!

more visual novel, murder mystery, puzzle-solving fun! with voice acting by ME!

  22. Query for my #artistic #queer &/or #neurodivergent &/or #ChronicallyIll &/or #disabled mutuals, whom I interact with often:

Do any of you lovely folks take commissions for #StreamElements overlays? :IntersexInclusivePrideHeart: :BlahajHoldingNeurodivergentSymbol: :DisabilityPrideHeart: :MentalHealthFlagHeart:

This is something that's currently holding me back from resuming #Twitch #streaming, which is part of my long-term plan to being able to afford private transition costs.

  23. @stux
I switched from Screamlabs to StreamElements awhile ago because of all the crap Strawlabs was doing.

I've enjoyed it and it's alert/overlay setup a lot more than I ever did with Streemlabs.
I really enjoy that it's overlay is one weed page with all the alerts, instead of one per alert. I've also found the customizability of it far exceeds Scamlabs, since you can write custom widgets with HTML, CSS, and JS to do anything you'd like.

  24. Hey y'all

Introducing the all-new Merch store. Now you can grab something in return for supporting the project. Check it out at merch.xerolinux.xyz

  25. Announcing our new Merch Store thanks to .. If you want to support the project buy our merch ;) store.streamelements.com/xerol

  26. @multosakalye no I did not, I use it on #Windows11 on a regular basis, and sometimes on #Linux (I use #Arch btw), but had a few problem with chat and #streamelements notifications on the latter

I'd guess one day or another I'll try a dual setup with #MacbookPro as the streamer :dracthyr_wuw:

  27. Have finally managed to get #streamelements integration into #strem so any #twitch users will hopefully benefit of the integration.

I personally use it for custom actions from store redemptions but you can hook into tips and cheers as well.

  28. Goodbye Streamlabs, hello Streamelements.

Since I started live streaming on Twitch over a year and a half ago I had been using Streamlabs to facilitate broadcasting. For those that don't know, Streamlabs is a service that allows you to add alerts, take donations, manage contests, play chat games, take media requests, and more
