So I'm trying something different next week. Instead of using #ReStream to stream, I'm just gonna use it for chat and do the streams myself via RTMP.
This way I can do #AV1 to #YouTube which should look much better despite a lower bitrate. #Twitch should look exactly the same.

First #restream test with my simple software to #Twitch is a success..
Now to add #Youtube and then #OwnCast

So last night I started simulcasting my live streaming to both #Twitch and #Youtube with #restream

Hopefully it will give people more options to watch, and my VODs will be in a more permanent location.

Now if only the #streamelements Login system wasn't glitching out for me, I might be able to do something about overlays

Anybody here using #Restream.IO with a paid plan and can help me debug something?

reading that #restream will support live comments from the X platform, I'm saddened. I wreally wish they could have, would have considered the #mastodon platform or any fedaverse platform as this will really cause growth in the #Fedaverse I would think. I'm almost willing to contact them to put forth said suggestion.

@the_white_wolf aktuell "noch" nicht. Langfristig kann ich mir aber vorstellen das Setup zu erweitern und ein #restream (doppelten Stream) auf eine #Peertube #Instanz zu machen die den Stream automatisch zum VoD verarbeitet. Aktuell gibt mein Setup das simultane aufnehmen einfach nicht her.
Wenn ich aber irgendwann mal vielleicht Hardware geupgradet hab vielleicht dann. Oder aber ich Formate aufteile die ich aufnehme und welche die ich streame.

Da möchte ich mich erstmal noch nicht festlegen.
