- Lost Streamer.bot entirely and had to redo EVERY TRIGGER with a fresh installation
- Lost Steam entirely and had to restart to get it working again
- Bricked my PC twice and had to hard restart
I am, under no circumstances, touching Lutris again. Nothing worked. It gave me Arch installation flashbacks. No thanks. I'll stick with my precious terminal, lines of hand-written code, and wine chugging along on version 10.0 happily. If anything touches my precious streamer.bot again, I'm gonna go full Villian.

Streamer.bot is a great tool for streamers on the big platforms like Twitch and YouTube (I use it myself!), but it lacks official support for open source platforms like #Owncast and it would be great to see this added.
That's why I've submitted a suggestion for it on their ideas page, and it would great if you could vote as well! It's only got a single lonely vote which I'm pretty sure is mine for suggesting it. 😅

Spent the evening teaching #StreamerBot how to speak #Owncast, and feeling very happy with the results.
Currently using naughty internal API endpoints (and honestly, I'm not sure how you're supposed to write meaningful integrations without doing this -- the public ones are so limiting!), so will wait until 0.2.0 comes out before publishing.
Total local ownership of your streams with real tools gets a little closer every day.

Pulling my hair out attempting to get my Song Request redeem on Twitch to pause via Streamer.bot when Spotify has stopped playing, and then unpause when Spotify starts playing again.
Spent the last couple of hours trying to get it working to no avail. 🤦♂️

I want to create/host a database to connect to Streamer.Bot to track historical data for various things on Twitch (ex: how many times someone has claimed a redeem).
My initial thought is some PostgreSQL db with some ORM into python that accepts webhooks from StreamerBot buutt maybe that’s too much? Would probably host locally for now.
Anyone have any #recommendations that would be best suited for this and simplest to set up?
