1/ our hero's can think we are attacking them when we're trying to help them
(e.g. offer suggestions or point out some possibilities to improve things)2/ when we get close to people (online or offliine) we can start to critique or attack them (with our words) which is a kind of complement because we think they are ~80% perfect and think "if they only did this then they could 'save the planet' etc "...
3/ in reality many people are just as flawed as us.

I just realised that if I'd sell all my external SSD's in the current RAMageddon, I could probably travel to Japan and enjoy 3-4 weeks of sight seeing and good food.

✅Deleted obsolete data
✅Replaced the old Mac Mini M1 with a M4
✅Replaced 2 x 12 TB harddrives with 2 x 20 TB harddrives
✅Created an automatic backup strategy for all devices..

I decided to create a salad from scratch with ingredients that were still available, since I was too lazy to go shopping: lettuce, radish, lentils, edamame beans, tuna and tempeh.
The marinated chopped tempeh cubes from the airfryer turned out great and added a nice umami crispy bite to the salad.

These 'leaked' images of the upcoming Pixel 10 Pro look sexy as f*ck. I especially appreciate the matte finish on the sides. I was never a fan of the glossy sides on my current Obsidian Pixel 10 Pro.

In June I bought a few stocks of SpaceX to experiment with stock speculation.
In the end I sold it after 3-4 weeks and locked in 10% profit and learned that next time I should sell faster when I buy out of speculation/hype. I could have made 40% in the first week.
I am now putting focus on a long term strategy and just bought Apple shares during the dip. Hope to keep them for at least a few years.

Yesterday's date with the Greek German guy Di. was fun. I showed him the flower market and we went to an art exhibition. After that we had drinks at several locations.
He's fun, upbeat and flamboyant. There were times I just wanted him to be silent for a few moments and stop his monologues about work life. 😱😂
He was flirting heavily with me, which was fun, but I didn't return it, since I didn't feel any physical attraction.
Nonetheless a great enjoyable day. #xp

It's really concerning what's currently happening in the Spanish exclave of Ceuta. 49,000 young Moroccan 'prosperity seekers' jumping over the fence trying to flee to the EU for better economic circumstances.
Don't get me wrong. I am definitely not against migration. I just believe it should be open solely for people fleeing their country due to of war or other political hardships. Moreover EU's migration has been slowly grinding to a halt due to the huge number of migrants in the past years.
I hope Brussels will soon come with drastic measurements to deal with this.

I honestly don't really care for historical figures on bank notes.
This design by Atelier Goppel-Toperngpong, which revolves about water and birdlife, feels timeless, especially since we're approaching an era in which water will become scarce and wildlife will need to be protected.
I'll vote for this one and hopefully this design will be picked out for the new Euro banknotes.

I am pretty stoked about the upcoming redesigned iPad Mini. The OLED screen and the rumoured chip update: A20 Pro with 12 GB RAM could make it a worthwhile upgrade to my iPad Pro M2.
The estimated single core performance of the A20 Pro will improve around 60% over the M2, making it a worthy upgrade for my music applications.
Let's hope Apple won't raise the prices of the Mini again.

It's extremely awful what happened in Berlin during the Pride festival and I stand by my brothers and sisters unconditionally.🙏
It's concerning that the acceptance for the LGBTQ+ community has lowered drastically in the past decade and there doesn't seem to be an ending to this in sight.
I really hope the current world pride in Amsterdam will progress in peace, without any incidents.

I don't usually recommend channels, but I am making an exception for Brickworld, who's building an amazing city in Lego.
He's currently working on a cinema in the city with a true video screen. It's amazing.
