@thebiologistisn Three accidental bean hybrids from our #garden. The black with white speckles and pintos with black markings are from several years ago that I've been selecting over time to hopefully stabilize. The black with white ends or white with black ends ? ones just appeared last year and I hope to stabilize them, too. I have no illusions that these are unique given how many bean cultivars there are, but this has been an interesting undertaking. #gardening #beans #SeedToTable

Grew a bunch of hinkelhatz chili peppers last year and not having any other plans for them I popped them in the dehydrator. Today I used some to whip up a batch of chili oil. Gonna make a good sauce soon! #gardening #SeedToTable #GrowYourOwn #CommunityGarden #chilis #peppers #cooking

My #Chile #Serrano plants are different this year. I got seeds in a swap and the plants are lightly downy. They're really pretty and I don't recall previous ones looking like this. Potted up two flats of peppers yesterday. There are way more than I’ll actually grow. Most will be given away. I’m running out of room! A friend has a hoop house I can move them to when I need to make room for the tomatoes if the weather is right. 🌶 🍅
