From yesterday. The smallest goat is the toughest one. It kept pushing bigger goats off the table - which it's claimed for itself 🐐 This vid shows it shoving a bigger goat off. It didn't let any other goat share the table - every attempt was met with shoving defense defiance 😅
You can meet some goats & chickens at Island View Farm (not a petting farm).

So, pro-tip from the local farmstand (where I buy produce and some seedlings from) -- when growing #Tomatoes, plant #Basil and #Marigolds with them -- even if growing container tomatoes (which is what I do). I love my local growers! They rock! 💚 🌿 🍅 🌻

A program of the Pima County Cooperative Extension and the University of Arizona, TVF is a working #UrbanFarm and healthy living center that fosters life and leadership skills in young people through #agriculture, culinary education, #outdoor adventure opportunities, and community engagement. "

These prices will take away from the distributors' bottom line, they will pass that loss on to their customers and then to consumers.

We need to #EatSeasonally and #EatLocal

Acknowledging that there's a lot of privilege behind this sentiment, almost everyone can make better choices on where you buy your food as well as what you buy. Plus you can lessen the enrichment of the billionaires that own some of those companies. #SupportLocalFarms #FarmersMarket #VoteWithYourWallet

I have been using this milk for a couple of months now and wanted to let people know about it.
Do you remember the old-style milk with cream on top? 🥛🐄
It's a nostalgic memory for many of us, this type of milk was once the norm in Australia, but has largely been replaced by homogenized milk that's easier to process and distribute.
But for those who miss the rich flavour and creamy texture of old-style milk, there are still some farmers who produce it the traditional way. Supporting these local producers not only gives you a taste of the past, but also helps to sustain small-scale farming and preserve regional food traditions.
So next time you're at the grocery store, why not look for a bottle of old-style milk? You might be surprised by how much you enjoy it, and you'll be doing your part to keep this piece of culinary heritage alive. 🙌 #oldstylemilk #creamontop #supportlocalfarms #foodtraditions
