In S6:E8, I knew a face was very familiar but I thought it was Kristen Johnston from 3rd Rock from the Sun, which kinda confused me with the timing.
Turns out it was Rhea Seehorn, who I know* from Plur1bus, in one of her first roles.

I need to add Wonder Man to the list, which has zero white people as primary characters (all men though; X Mayo is supporting), and isn't a show primarily about race.
All of the white characters are in secondary roles, supporting the main characters, providing comic relief, or just background.
I hope this is a trend that continues and expands, and accurately reflects the real world.

Just to be clear, I mean in the history of television, broadcast, cable, and streaming, made in the United States for the U.S. market, my frame of reference.

It hit me today, and maybe I'm wrong, but I think Plur1bus is the only major tv show not focused on race, just human humans on Earth, where most of the main characters are not white (just 1) 🤯 👏🏿
They deliberately chose to not make white the default for humanity, in a show about humanity.
A subtle hint it's intentional was Koumba reminding Carol that she chose to exclude non-English speakers.
It's a creative decision I applaud.

Roughly halfway through Pluribus and really digging it. There's a strong whiff of The X-Files about it (which makes sense given Gilligan's background) and it also owes a lot to Vonnegut imo.
Overall, Gilligan has knocked it out of the park again. And Rhea Seehorn is spectacular. As are the rest of the cast. Great stuff
Now, a quick herbal tea and back to the show...
