My family: wow this toddler is so smart, she can do everything by herself!

Also my family: doesn't let said toddler do stuff on her own and gets annoyed when I remind them she can do things herself.

It's like that with everything relating to my kid. They praise a behaviour but then refuse to do the things I ask them to do that achieved said behaviour 😑 #ParentingStruggles
