The #microscopy gods smiled upon me today as I was showing my 6 year old her first real #microscope.
We collected some pollen, from a backyard tomatillo onto a glass slide, put a coverslip & hoped for the best.
Just as I was bringing it into focus to show her, I saw this.

Sometimes my 6 year old will say something so perfect, that I think everything is going to be ok.
We were driving by a construction site of a new fast food place. They had torn down the previous commercial building to do this.
She asked incredulously "Why did they have to tear down the other building? It was still ok!
