We had the need to filter out content for a specific country for some customers in some of our APIs (because of licensing terms that those customers hadn't agreed to). The developer who implemented this went somewhat overboard and created a JSON defined rules engine which allowed us to filter in many ways that we never had any need to filter on.

wondering if i should implement those jiffy skip lists.
i was thinking about it and uh. if you were to give each game object an ID (which they get anyway) you can use the key in the skip list. this is not so much because we want a list of objects (though thats neat), but jiffy lists support transactional updates.
so if i did use those, it means a game server could actually perform multi-threaded transactional updates :blobcatthinkOwO: that would be pretty neat for multithreading. this is also probably far ahead of anyone caring though. lol. #overengineered -
I've been thinking about how to make a #3DPrinted waist clip or something when I don't need my walking stick and I'd prefer to have my hands free for other stuff.
I've had all these ideas of a clip and retainers with springs etc basically over engineered to hell.

Eg. because the original #developer didnt deem it necessary to PROPERLY document stuff, and you only got the basic theme + database content + media files to work with.
