I just got my orchiectomy, and it "hurts" less than my heavily hurt foot right now.
Don't let fear delay this surgery if you're a trans woman. Just get it. I'm walking like nothing happened for example.

i dont even know how i used to be able to sit, anymore
this is so much easier, so much more comfortable
fucking revelatory

I just had a consultation about my surgeries with #Psytrans.
There are some really good news (#transjoy) and some instances of #DutchHellCare:
Let’s start with the good stuff:
My endocrinologist actually did a nice thing and accepted my detailed records about how I did #OpenHRT combined with the one bloodtest I payed myself as sufficient evidence to accept my actual starting date as starting date for HRT.
Thank you Gina, I really and actually appreciate that! (#NameAndPraise)
This means that the Dutch healthcare system now accepts that I’ve actually completed my first year of HRT, which is the requirement to start the process for #BottomSurgery. 😊
In that regard I’m pretty clear on what I want and at the same time very open about the details: Full #vaginoplasty, no half-meassures like pure #orchiectomy or zero-depth. How exactly they are doing it is something that I don’t particularly care about, which is good, because this is also pretty much the extend to which they let you choose.
Accordingly this part of the conversation was over pretty quickly and we moved to #FacialFeminisationSurgery…
And the first issue is that it is relatively hard to get it covered. You essentially need to have issues passing, because otherwise it would be considered a cosmetic surgery which isn’t covered. Annoying, but on the other hand also somewhat understandable. The more annoying thing is that hair-transplants are almost never covered anyways,
Which brings us to cost…
So first of all Dutch hell-insurance only pays up to Dutch rates which are not cost-covering for bottom surgery (in case anyone was wondering why the waiting-lists are long: This is one of the reasons, hospitals loose money on it), so of the 20.000€ that one could expect to pay in Thailand, Dutch insurances would only pay 14.000€. So a 6000€ difference probably + travel cost. A lot of money, but I could cover that without too many issues.
Now full FFS can apparently get to 40.000€…
Which would not be completely impossible, but in “pillage retirement-savings”-territory…
Well, in the end I decided to go onto Radbout’s waiting list for a combined surgery (which would also be fully covered by health-insurance, which would be a huge benefit), so if I manage to hit the weight-targets, I might get surgery in maybe like two years or so?
Speaking of it: I really need to loose weight, that will definitely be the biggest problem going forward…

CW: trans, surgery question, voting
A question for those who've undergone orchi. Mine is 31-Oct. Election is Nov-5. I'm in a rural area, with the original plan being to vote in person on the day. Likely won't be long lines. Am I going to feel okay to do that?
Thanks in advance.

More makeup practice, plus ...
I have an appointment with a second therapist for a surgery letter in a few minutes. The first letter has already been delivered to the surgeon's office, as has a letter of support from my HRT clinician.
I'm working the steps for getting an #orchiectomy. Later today, I go for an ultrasound that the surgeon requested.

CW: Trans, Gender affirming surgery
I just got home from a surgery consult for an #orchiectomy. I like the surgeon. Once I have my letters I will be starting the process. My therapist is on vacation this week.
We've already discussed my intention, so I imagine the letters are pretty much a foregone conclusion. Then it's a matter of scheduling the pre-op appointments, and scheduling the actual surgery. 🎉

CW: Gender affirming surgery?
Fingers crossed. 🤞
I've begun searching for a surgeon for an #orchiectomy. I am cautiously hopeful I might be able get that done early next year.
I heard back from one surgeon's office this afternoon. I have a consult on 26-Sep. Another hasn't returned my call yet. Both are in network with my insurance.

CW: hornyposting
Can’t wait to get neutered and be teased for having such a big beautiful cock, dripping with need, as they finger my nutless sack like the pussy it’s meant to be. Maybe one day it’ll become just that.
Even without all that testosterone flowing through me, my libido couldn’t be higher. That instinctual drive to breed growing stronger. That longing to put a litter in someone. Mind growing hazy from the heat. And yet, not a drop of potency left.

One of the things that is hard to understand about #Genderdysphoria and that might give a lot of people self-doubts is a seeming lack of #BottomDysphoria.
I can for example look down in the shower without feeling like I have to throw up.
The important part to understand here is that this doesn’t mean that you don’t have bottom-dysphoria: I have no emotional attachment to these parts beyond them being my reproductive system. I find the prospect of an #orchiectomy intimidating, but only because it will mean the irreversible end to my ability to have biological children (beyond what is already frozen in the local hospital).
I don’t really care about anything else there: If I have to choose between the things I currently have between my legs and the ability to visit an #Onsen again, it’s an easy choice for the later.
#Cis people don’t think about it like that. This is a form of gender-dysphoria, even if it doesn’t cause acute mental pain!

MUTUAL AID REQUEST🖖:flag_nonbinary:🏳️⚧️🦇🏳️⚧️:flag_nonbinary:🖖
Few days out of surgery.
I filed for leave from work and it somehow resulted in a denial and a loss of all of my benefits.
This was surprising because the last day was the day after my procedure.
I want to entice some of you to send me money. I did not take as many pictures as I wanted but I did take a few and a short video of me in the shower before the snip. When I heal up I have a motivation to take some more pictures. I am still making an OnlyFans but do not have the focus or energy to set all of that up and I could use money now.
My #Orchiectomy went well, I am healing and dealing with some issues remaining still. Not doing yoga and walking is a pain in my ass. Two weeks out of work and another week of caution.
Keeping my Gock but the nuts had to go. I am so happy with this decision so far.I need to raise a few hundred dollars. If I could get enough to cover rent next month that would help me feel less afraid of things.
I also have a wishlist of stuff that can make me happy.
Some of what has been sent to me went to meds and some recovery needs. My post #surgery needs are covered as far as the meds I needed. I really want to get some new clothes and make-up. Would also love to get a sense of my future.
Please help and #boost
I really want to feel safe after I come out of this #recovery period.
My blog is covering my journey and I update it nightly with multiple posts on the day I had the procedure.

CW: Keeping testes after orchi
I found out tonight that apparently you can request to keep your testes for "religious reasons" after an orchidectomy (aka orchiectomy) and it's very difficult for a surgeon to say no if you live somewhere with religious anti-discrimination rules.
Do with this information what you will 😏🤭

Being #trans and being able to wear leggings without worry thanks to my #orchiectomy is probably one of the greatest gifts ever. It has been almost a year (in November) since my surgery and not having that part of my body anymore has taken away so much gender dysphoria. Surgery does NOT make you trans. But gender affirming available being able to me has been life-changing.

CW: transgender surgery, trans woman surgeries
Feeling generally curious tonight and Insomniatic.
any #transFem people gotten an #Orchiectomy and feel comfortable with discussing it?
I don't have any genital dysphoria the balls just get in the way sometimes with clothes and I don't like producing testosterone. mostly the second one.

For the first time in a while we have some pretty kick-ass #HealthInsurance, I hope.
Once it kicks in I should be able to schedule my #orchiectomy in about a month, and next year I should qualify for a leave of absence which I can use for recovery from #BottomSurgery
This #girl is having #dreams come true! -
I was able to get my #estrogen #prescription raised to 4mg and today will be my second day at that level.
Already I can feel some positive changes going on and I am excited to see what happens from here.
Now, back to searching for a #urologist that will do an #orchiectomy and be covered by insurance. -
CW: Surgery
Headed home from my #orchiectomy. Pretty great Monday! Hopefully I’m as happy when the pain meds wear off.
