Just got a call from the fuckers in Amsterdam (VUMC) whether they need to keep me on their waiting list. I told them that I’m essentially through the entire process (no thanks to them), and should now be put on Radboud’s surgery waiting-list any day now and that they can remove me from theirs, since I prefer to work with psytrans. (Maybe I should have said “because unlike for you, I do have some trust into those people…”)
I did ask them where in the waiting list they are currently and was told that they are now dealing with people who were referred to them in 2020…
I also asked about the #progesterone study that they should really have published already, but the person who called me claimed to not really know anything about, go figure…

Just ordered a blood test for T, E2, Prolactin and SHBG for 143€. Something that any competent and non-transphobic GP would have prescribed me without question. Sadly those don’t seem to be unavailable in the Netherlands…
I’ll see if I can talk my health-insurance to cover it anyways, maybe if I threaten them that I’ll otherwise call an ambulance the next time I have a headache, because that’s more expensive to them anyways. I tried cooperation after all, but sadly this system isn’t set up for it.
The only reason I did it really is that apparently the fuckers in Rotterdam might accept it as evidence that I’m on HRT at this point, which could accelerate some things later on…

After that I called one of the three GPs in Eindhoven that is listed by transineigenhand as trans-friendly https://transineigenhand.nl/voor-transgender-personen/landkaart-transvriendelijke-huisartsen/ to see whether they would take me despite them being supposedly closed for new patients after someone told me that they had success when they pointed out being trans. Well I can sadly report that this sadly doesn’t work with van Eerdenbrugh. 😢
I’m now very seriously considering to just go to the #EmergencyRoom after work and come up with some symptoms to maybe at least get some #bloodtests because it’s not like following the rules gets you anything in this shithole-country.

Every politician should be forcibly put on cross-sex hormones until they can convince a pair of hyper-critical psychologists that they really are cis and then manage to see an endocrinologist who signs of on that, but both of these things should come with the same waiting lists as there are for trans people.
I somehow feel we would see the gatekeeping drop to self-identification in no time at all…
(And the same should of course also be done to all employees of #VUMC be honest.)
