After a blocking action carried out on 24/03/2024 on the OIP/ELBIT site in Oudenaarde, seven activists are being prosecuted by OIP/ELBIT.

OIP/ELBIT is one of the main Israeli multinational arms companies. The blockade was intended to denounce the company's involvement in the ongoing genocide in Palestine, as well as to make its presence on Belgian soil visible.

Following numerous blockages on the Oudenaarde site, OIP/ELBIT is trying to intimidate the activists and set a precedent!

Today, OIP/ELBIT is claiming more than €65,000 in damages from the 7 activists.

Let's come together to show our support for the 7 and the solidarity struggles for the liberation of Palestine!

Let's also come together to prevent a multinational from threatening freedom of expression!

Dans un contexte sécuritaire toujours plus violent, les droites extrêmes organisent une détérioration sans précédent des conditions d'enfermement et revendiquent clairement vouloir broyer toujours plus les détenus.

De l'autre côté de l'échiquier politique, on assiste à un renouvellement du mythe de la "Justice" et de "l'État de Droit", et à une invisibilisation totale de décennies de luttes anticarcérales et de dénonciation des violences judiciaires.

Tous les organismes légaux ( #CEDH , #OIP , #CGLPL , etc. ) échouent a inverser la tendance malgré des décennies de rapports et d'alertes sur la situation abjecte (et illégale) de la détention en France.

Quoi de plus logique qu'un mouvement de révolte éclate à ce moment, utilisant l' #ActionDirecte afin de faire entendre la voix des détenus et dénoncer un système carcéral toujours plus barbare ?

Samenwerking universiteiten met Israëlische instellingen staat al langer ter discussie, maar nu laait die natuurlijk fel op. Malheureusement c'est aujourd'hui la norme dans les prisons françaises... Nous avons dénoncé dès le début ces formes de "torture blanche", les proches de Libre Flot ont alerté à de nombreuses reprises la #LDH, la #CGLPL, l' #OIP, etc. mais aucune association de défense des droits humains ne s'était mobilisée jusqu'alors. Seule #Lenvolée et les comités de soutien se sont mobilisées avec des tribunes et des envois massifs de cartes postales.
