Found a need to mute an entire hashtag tonight, but wasn't entirely clear how. In Moshidon, it's trivial.

Tap the tag. You get a list of posts that have that tag. In the upper right, tap the bullhorn. Read the notice. Tap mute. You're done.

I'm seriously rethinking federal student aid. Maybe I should pinch my pennies and pay for my community college classes out-of-pocket. I'm not sure if carrying that debt for the rest of my life would be worth it.

I had written a long post about that, but then Moshidon suddenly closed, and my unsaved post just disappeared. That's happened quite a few times. Not sure if it's the fault of the app, or the Android phone. Or perhaps something else entirely. 🤔

I typed "Trump is in the Epstein files" and Moshidon closed. When I returned to the app, my post had disappeared, and was not saved as a draft. Just sayin', that hasn't happened before.

It's like springtime in the United States decided to devolve into a fascist-inspired episode of The X-Files.

@Vorinstanz #moshidonapp ist für mich die beste App unter #android für #mastodon .. toll ist einfach die Einstellmöglichkeiten und die drei unterschiedlichen Timelines. Würde ja gerne die Standart App nutzen aber leider fehlen da sehr viele Funktionen die zu schätzen weiß👍🏻

That moment when you have a post completely prepared for Caturday with photo, alt text, a little story all ready to save as a draft, when you are just putting in the hashtags and it crashes and all is lost.
"And I'll never have that recipe again..."

Serves me right. I should have prepared it in a text app first. It's not the first time. Just the longest.

What error is this on #Moshidon for #Android, it won't let me see the full error and nothing related to Moshidon appears when I look the error up:

Changing to #Moshidon has been a revelation. Being able to create custom timelines consisting of lists of hashtags is simply awesome.

This means you don't have to follow all the hashtags and cloud your regular timelines. And normal lists can only utilize accounts. Not hashtags..

The downside is that it isn't supported by #Mastodon itself.

Please tell me how to get rid of this cross that shows up on Moshidon current version and opens emoji stuff as an option when you reply to a post. I really do not want this. It wasn't on the old Megalodon (which I still think is a pref UE). But, I think it's to do with mastodon.social settings bc it's not in my Mementomori account interface if I view that with Moshidon. Help/advice appreciated.

It would be nice if the Moshidon app remembered where you left off reading in the timeline. Scrolling down every time is tiring, especially since the timeline jumps back up even when you just exit the settings. Would that be feasible in the foreseeable future? Thank you very much. Ce que j'aime bien chez #Tusky :
-la sobriété, les raccourcis # et @,
- l'historique des modifications sur les publications (facile à consulter).

Ce que j'aime bien chez #MoshidonApp :
- la traduction avec #LibreTranslate,
- l'ergonomie + switch avec Accueil-Local-Fédéré,
- les suggestions dans "Search".

Mais crash lors de l'écriture.

I often get 'TOO MANY REQUESTS' messages when trying to reply or boost something with #moshidonapp but #tuskyapp seems pretty reliable. A bit of a pain when it happens, and I have to switch apps to perform actions.

Been hearing some buzz about #moshidon for Mastodon so I decided to poke around with it for the first time... and I'm actually really liking it so far. Normally I prefer Tusky, but Moshidon's UI feels more polished in most respects. Gonna have to give this app a full test drive! #moshidonapp

I hate to say it but it's time to dump #moshidonapp -- again.

Now it has *two* major bugs I can't live with and, given that the first one never got solved, I just can't deal with it anymore. Sad. It's still my favorite #mastodon app. ☹️

If you're curious: it still crashes on hashtag completions and now it crashes whenever I try to load a saved draft (every time!). Maybe the latter is fixable, but I heard the team can't replicate the first one so...

Goodbye #moshidon I wish it wasn't so.

Does your timeline also just reset and scroll all the way up when you click on a link or change apps? I don't remember this happening in prior versions (a few updates before, I don't remember it that well) but it's been happening for a while.

Did I change a setting that cause this to happen? I tried messing with the settings but no avail. Turning auto load new posts off just caused the location to still reset but without getting new toots.

Currently on my third #mastodon app on #android.

The official app seemed a bit limited, so I tried #tusky, which is definitely much better. Now using @moshidon which seems better still.

I also find myself using the web app in #Firefox sometimes.

Open to suggestions for anything better - what features might I be missing?
