Welche Android-App könnt ihr mir empfehlen, die die "neue" Zitierfunktion für Mastodon "schön" angezeigt und einen einfachen Wechsel zwischen mehreren angemeldeten Accounts erlaubt?

Ich nutze aktuell Tusky und mag nicht immer erst auf den verlinkten Beitrag im Beitrag klicken.

Ich bevorzuge vom Handling her eine eigene App, also bitte keine Vorschläge "einfach im Browser öffnen".

warum kann ich in @Tusky #tusky #tuskyapp beim Einfügen eines Hashtags in einen Tröt oder eine Antwort nicht sehen, wie viel Resonanz dieser hashtag bekommt (wie es bei #mastodon via Webbrowser der Fall ist)? :-/ Das fehlt!

Recommendations for Mastodon apps. I use Tusky a lot, but now that my instance lets me Boost or Quote toots, it doesn't seem to support quoting. Maybe this feature is in the pipeline?

Mastodon Android app always shows me notifications when someone has interacted with me. Tusky never shows me notifications.
Tusky doesn't scroll to top (most recent) post in timeline after refresh. Mastodon does.

Can you somehow subscribe to other users' threads?

I find myself regularly bookmarking other users' posts for the sole purpose of later checking manually if more replies appeared. I see two issues with this:

1. It feels wrong to do manually what the network and app should do for me.

2. I probably don't see all replies from other instances. I'd hope that with subscribing I could increase their visibility to me.

I use the @Tusky app.

Ok, I am now 100% positive that there is a bug in #tusky

It's hard to replicate, but here are the conditions;
1) Fairly lengthy post
2) Happens at or around the time you are using #hashtag and the pulling of auto complete hashtags happens
3) This one, may or may not be a factor, inattentive touching on the screen very close or at the time the auto complete happens.

Effect:
The entire screen slides to the right and the post is gone. Very annoying as it happens only on longer posts.

OK so I'm ignorant - is this a restriction at the client (Tusky), instance (.social), network (Mastodon), protocol (ActivityPub), or other -level?

In unrelated news, about a hundred accounts I thought I'd curated in lists... I didn't.

🇬🇧 I wish @Tusky had a way to mark post languages as favourites, or order the language list by most recent usage.

I operate a bilingual account. English is always on top of the list, but marking a post as German always requires scrolling to 'G'.

Ce que j'aime bien chez #Tusky :
-la sobriété, les raccourcis # et @,
- l'historique des modifications sur les publications (facile à consulter).

Ce que j'aime bien chez #MoshidonApp :
- la traduction avec #LibreTranslate,
- l'ergonomie + switch avec Accueil-Local-Fédéré,
- les suggestions dans "Search".

Mais crash lors de l'écriture.

I often get 'TOO MANY REQUESTS' messages when trying to reply or boost something with #moshidonapp but #tuskyapp seems pretty reliable. A bit of a pain when it happens, and I have to switch apps to perform actions.

@Tusky Is there a way when clicking "load more" in #tusky to load the posts above the current post, so that I don't have to remember where the last read post is and have to scroll?

Nada que ver con el contenido habitual, pero a pesar de que me ha gustado bastante #tuskyapp durante estas semanas que la he estado utilizando... ( ya que es bastante personalizable y en algunas cosas recuerda más a Twitter) #moshidon me sigue pareciendo la mejor experiencia para madtodon en Android.

Tiene una interfaz que me parece más amigable e intuitiva. Aunque tiene dos problemas importantes, carece totalmente de notificaciones Push, o al menos en mi caso, y la ausencia de una pestaña independiente para "mensajes directos". Las cuales fueron las razones por la que cambie a Tuski.

Pero aquí estoy de vuelta XD. ¿Que piensas ustedes?

Today I've learnt Tusky has an "open as" menu item to let you open a post as any of the identities you have registered with the app. Very useful !

I started using #fedilab as a test for some features I don't know if I really miss on #tusky.

My generation grew up with the "eh, who cares, you'll survive" mantra, it's only natural to not know if there's something better out there.

@paulschoe @Mastodon Thank you for replying :) I'm assuming they have deliberately coded the app to remove the bell icon then once an account has been followed? I wonder why that would be? Unless that is the actual default and other app developers have to actually add that in? It makes it inconvenient to have to log into the web version to simply have to deselect the notification bell icon on the accounts you no longer want notifications from.
