Okay, I dump on bsky a fair bit... I mean no edit feature (still), it tends to really mangle images when recompressing them, it has an obnoxiously low character limit, it's not *actually* federated in any meaningful way, etc, etc... but today I uploaded a video and they now let you upload soft subtitles (vtt format), which is an awesome feature that I wish Mastodon/Fedi (and other platforms that let you share video) would adopt!

was ich mir persönlich nochmal für Nextcloud wünschen würde, wäre ein Befehl, mit dem sich alle AddOn's deaktivieren ließen.
Es kommt nicht gerade selten vor das ein AddOn die Funktion der Cloud stört. Wenn man dann beginnt, alle AddOn's händisch zu deaktivieren um zu schauen welche AddOn's denn nun dafür verantwortlich ist und es in den Logs/Webtools auch keinen Hinweis gibt, ist es echt mühsam.

So far the only significant limitation gotosocial seems to have is that it does not provide a way to view all the public tagged posts by a user in the public web interface.
So there's no equivalent to Mastodon's: https://chaos.social/@swetland/tagged/zx81
This is a bummer because I really like this feature for using my fedi account like a blog. Might have to poke around in the source code and see how hard it'd be to implement...

So I like that you get the little "more replies found" popup in thread views nowadays... but in a longer thread there's no easy way of figuring out where the new replies are once they load, so you're stuck scrolling through the hole thing trying to find them!
It'd be nice if the newly loaded replies were somehow subtly highlighted to more readily catch one's eye.

Filters are a powerful feature here on Mastodon (not too sure about other fediverse platforms!), but they can definitely be made even more useful.
Something like this https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/issues/9177 would be great for making "filter starter packs", for example "News Filters" with common news-related hashtags, keywords, and popular news site domains.

When a user copies text from an AI chat, detect if they're accidentally grabbing boilerplate/label text too and flash a warning:
