They were bought at the Container Store probably 20 years ago and were used for most of that time to store all the things a family with three toddlers and tweens and teens needs to have handy in a bathroom but wants very much not to show off. They probably cost $100 or so for the bunch, and I am sure would cost more today or be hard to find in material that could get abused like this without falling apart. #ReUse #MakeDo #UseWhatYouGot

Always trying to use-it-up-or-wear-it-out around here so my Project for today was rescuing some galvanized metal cube storage things, which we had ripped out of the bathroom we were remodeling, cleaning the ever-loving crap out of them, and mounting them in the hall near our washer and dryer. Left cube-shaped holes for artsy stuff, or just more storage. These will likely see a lot of use for towels and laundry junk.

Compost bin chore done today. Whew. That big wheelbarrow was nearly full of "black gold."
I don't have a proper screen, but three layers of chicken wire catches most of the big stuff. Use what ya got, I say!
Next year, those wood pellet pallets will need replacing, though.

As we know, having everything is only #possible for Billionaire #Martian children (when available). At the moment, most of the #Gaia/Earth has to do with limited #time and #resources. We therefore need:

- Task jugglers 🤹♀️
- Help from other dimensions (as available) 🫂
Fortunately, we have many such fledging back burner projects being passed on to the Next Generation of Trekkies/#hackers Internet Elders and #Middle #Earthers. For example :blobcatcool:

A desk and shoe rack made with free boxes from Costco and two $5 shelves from Home Depot. Detergent and dishwasher-tab containers providing the weights for the desk's "legs". #tbt
Evidence I generally travel with my trusty MSFT Sculpt keyboard, and my 24" LED TV which was a monitor during day and served entertainment after hours. 😁
This was a temporary living arrangement I had a few years ago for work and such.
