Tech development doesn’t exist in a vacuum, much of the “blocking energy” we encounter comes not from grand conspiracies, but from entrenched systems and social inertia - though intentional influence still exists in spaces like #traditionalmedia. Developers carry responsibility here: to build systems that reduce harm, support collective wellbeing, and avoid reinforcing the very problems we need to solve.

In #OMN thinking, #traditionalmedia refers to the legacy thinking of broadcast and print institutions - TV, radio, newspapers - that present themselves as neutral but are structurally embedded in the same #neoliberal, #dotcons power systems they claim to objectively report on, making them megaphones for the #deathcult status quo rather than public interest journalism.

I had to combine #TraditionalMedia with edits in #GIMP to create a piece worth sharing. I don't think that's a bad thing.

I've been finishing off started sketches while being away.
Technically-speaking, I've not done well on this one. But it was a first attempt on:
- unusual standing pose
- angle a weapon is held at
- female form in invented armour
- movement of materialThis isn't one of my characters for writing. At least not yet.

Why do people keep doing pointless self harm – news aggreation
There are hundreds (over the last 20 years likely thousands) of news, aggregation sites. It’s a common #dotcons model to enclose the “commons” people see free content and think I can capture that. The problem is news content looks like it’s free, but that’s because it’s “free” to spread, but it’s VERY expensive in human (and thus money) to produce the content. This side is never addressed in these failed tech projects.
