I've used a transparent smoke colored glass to make these beads, along with champagne and white overlaid with dark purple that appears black in all but bright natural light, and some opaque earth tones. This time I'm using pairs of very small lampwork beads I made at the torch, in colors that complement textured bits of scrap copper and bronze I've cut up for this purpose. I create and sell lots of lampwork glass bead earrings at street fairs and festivals, but very rarely online, as the cost and effort can't be justified for such inexpensive work.
