Today I'm assembling components for earrings. This time I'm using pairs of very small lampwork beads I made at the torch, in colors that complement textured bits of scrap copper and bronze I've cut up for this purpose. I periodically sort through my leftovers - excess beads from a project, some a bit wonky, experiments, etc. - and stitch together a complete necklace or bracelet. We have a blazing (pun intended because the air is full of smoke from fires) heatwave here in the PNW, so this little piece seems appropriate.
