This new necklace with a central pendant is not in my online shops, but I thought I'd share it anyway. Something new in both my Etsy shop and Ko-fi shop. I used earth tones on these opaque beads, rolling them on a corrugated metal surface while they were red hot, creating the spiral surface texture. Just completed, and hearkening back to early Roman jewelry using semi-precious stones like amethyst and rock crystal. Here, I've used transparent very pale blue and light purple Murano glass to make the beads, adding colored mica powders while white hot for shimmer, resembling iridescence. I used transparent red, transparent topaz, and various shades of opaque red and other warm colors of Murano glass, all with added trailing.
