Thanks to some big brass and copper jump rings and roll milled or stamped pieces I made 5 or 6 years ago, I was able to combine metal with lampwork beads. I'll have these at the "Mira! Las Cruces" festival, and bushels more new hot glass.

I'm looking to get a set of BoroTruView 3.0 Lampworking Glasses 33 and a National 3A-B hand torch, and some accessories, and all the suppliers I can find are in the US or UK (and the UK ones don't ship to Canada). Would rather avoid huge tariffs.

So I'm pleased with these flat beads using Moretti colors: black marble, marbled grey, pink, creamy white, and deep red., all wrapped in a layer of clear. Baking soda can be used to create a texture to glass beads or other glass objects. Far left, the only effect is blending of two colors around the equator of the bead, which retains it's shine. Further right, the blending is more thorough, with a "metallic" surface appearance.
