Something new in my Ko-fi store: This necklace is 20 inches long. I used transparent red, transparent topaz, and various shades of opaque red and other warm colors of Murano glass, all with added trailing. The focal bead is red and yellow, with gold mica powder, all encased in clear. I used canes of green, rose and blue glass with encased strands of opaque white to make the beads for this 18-inch necklace. The white strands give the beads a sense of movement. The colors suggest the holidays, but this could be worn anytime. I can never get enough blue; all kinds of blue. In this new piece, I used a marbled blue to make the donut beads, a deep transparent blue for the tubular beads, and a pale transparent amethyst for the focal bead, enhanced with the other two blues. Happy first Friday of 2024. I shot this little video last night. This is done, and I'm pleased. 18 inches long. Dark transparent purple with applied and raked trails of marbled light opaque blue.
