For old times sake #jugger

My newest #DIY and #3Dprinting project!
We've been struggling to source pool noodles with holes in them for an entire year now and are down to 2 when we really need to repair and build more #Jugger gear. So, I finally sat down to build our own pool-noodle-apple-core-remover.

Heating up a pipe with a blowtorch before ramming it through should give perfectly smooth holes (if about 2-4mm more in diameter than the pipe, so 1cm diameter works well enough for 14-16 mm core rods).

This weekend I got to finalize and test out my latest #diy #crafting project at the first #Jugger tournament our club attended in Kiel, and I'd call it a success 🥳
In the lead up to it I've been busy #3DPrinting and #sewing and finalized the chain just in time on the tournament ground 😬. (To be fair, I didn't get the ball until then, but I finished the handle on the train)

The sewed covers place the Long- and Short-Pompf a little on the "heavy" side, but 🤷🏳️‍🌈

A good friend of mine left me his #3Dprinter and it's been running hot all week baking TPU A98 pieces for our upcoming #Jugger gear build day.

Meanwhile I started wiping about 8 years of dust off of my #blender3d knowledge to customize the TPE A83 pommel. Took me a while to get a clean manifold mesh and the right settings for the TPE, but I'm pleased with the results.

Our #Jugger sports club #facebook page is getting hammered with spam about community rules BS. And #Copenhagen commune very officially reminded the club that we're supposed to separate our trash.
So I guess reporting, blocking and muting every single one of these is our legal duty now 😉

Also, FB ought to get their shit together. This is so obviously an organized attack that someone must be asleep at the wheel. 🤦

On Monday we did some #Jugger gear maintenance for our club. I finally got started on a project 2 years in the waiting to sew a new bag pack for the Pompfen that can fit them all (the longest are 2m), using an old, worn out and now sliced open and gutted hiking backpack and a ripped kite. Immersed in laying out the stitches, just grabbing 3 rolls of tape at random from ye ol' bag of holding I went:
