Istnieje pewna ilość realnie praktykowanych sportów, które miały swoje korzenie w fantastyce. Za przykład na dziś posłuży nam jugger, szczególnie lubiany przez fanów postapo, czyli sport kontaktowy polegający na wrzucaniu czaszek do opony przeciwnika.
Pomysł na grę pochodzi z filmu „Krew bohaterów” z Rutgerem Hauerem i Joan Chen. Polecamy, zestarzał się z gracją. -

IMERZIVNÍ POSTAPO FESTIVAL
Kmeny pustiny, nájezdníci, nomádi a vy všichni, kteří se v tomhle zatraceným světě snažíte přežít! Slyšte, slyšte - Rusthaven, městečko na úpatí hory šrotu a rzi, otevírá svý brány podruhý. A bude to zas skvělý, (ne)rezavý a epický. Jedinečná příležitost hodit aspoň na pár dní za hlavu problémy běžných dní a užít si vybranou společnost podobně smýšlejících deviantů. Budou koncerty, vystoupení, přednášky, hry… No prostě všechno, co by si ty vaše líný zadky mohly přát. Tak je koukejte dovalit!

RUSTHAVEN je imerzivní festival pořádaný poslední červnový víkend příznivci postapokalyptického žánru pro podobně naladěnou komunitu. Návštěvníci se mohou opět těšit na pestrý hudební program, přednášky, workshopy a vystoupení, novou edici karetní hry Rustbrawl a pokračování lore. Nebudou chybět ani Hry v podobě různorodých klání a soutěží, kmeny obývající RZB a LARPové questy. Opět platí kostýmová povinnost pro všechny účastníky - dělá to atmošku, žejo!

If I understand the concept of #FPGA properly, it uses "generic" electronic modules (FPG arrays) that can be (reversibly?) "personalized" to behave like a custom desinged circuits.
To personalize them, we need:
1. Some design and development environment, where we design and test specific configurations for given functionality. And this part is rather resource-intensive.
2. Some "flashing" environment to "imprint" existing models onto generic FPGA modules. Which is much less resource-intensive than the previous part.
Now, I can imagine that, for the sake of #maintenance and #resillience, I may use FPGAs to build all kinds of devices around them. Then, just in case of failure (EMP, maybe) I can safely stock a pile of generic modules, an imprinter and a library of models so I can replace whatever is broken, without looking for a specialised chip.
Does it make sense and why not? ;-)
