Absolutely. In my mind, the #1 and #2 reasons why Americans don't drink tea is that they use crappy tasteless Lipton teas, and they don't properly BOIL the tea. (As in, using just-boiled water, not boiling the tea leaves themselves. That's just cruel. XD)

Interestingly, some teas don't take to boiling water well. #YerbaMate specifically wants 60-70 or maybe at most 80°C, IIRC.

BTW, have you ever made #SunTea? It's amazingly smooth. Just put a couple teabags in a glass jug or jar and set it outside on a sunny day (if you get those, heh) for a few hours. It tastes super smooth like cold brew, but it's much, much faster to brew. Pour it over ice and enjoy.

I got some empty teabags and fill it with nice Sadaf loosleaf black tea and a couple crushed caradmom cloves, and I add Stevia in my tumbler. Absolutely heavenly.
