Yesterday, I spent four hours (which I don't actually have) trying to animate an #svg arrangement in (#2d) in #blender.
As I now know, SVG in Blender (deep nesting structures, grease pencil vs curve or mesh questions, materials, non-functioning alpha channel, washed out colors, to through a few keywords 😋) is, let's say, complex (avoiding to say flawed). 😂🫣

Reminds me a little bit of when we tried to use #svg with #juce for #jc303.

And I'm actually such a big fan of SVG. 🤔🫤🙃

@human_oncomouse I've been designing user interfaces for clients for 25 years and switched completely to #linux a few years ago. In this process I started investing my time in #opensource projects too and when I heard about #jc303 I knew I wanted to contribute some time and energy there. #midilab has lovingly welcomed me and supported me along the way. We are already working together on major expansions (#stepsequencer and #effects). 😇🥳
