@anedroid ja kod pisze w wybranym IDE (kate), a kompilację i podpisanie robię w terminalu za pomocą komend z pakietu android-platforms (wybrane sdk i programy typu adb, apksigner i gradlew do kompilacji). W ten sposób omijam korzystanie z #androidstudio ale niestety nie omijam licencji googla na które trza się zgodzić wykonując gradlew.
Tutaj mam niedoskonałe repo z moją apką mobilną pisaną w #ionicframework
https://codeberg.org/nemo-storage-collector/storage-collector-mobile/src/branch/main/app

Current struggle with #angular (or perhaps #IonicFramework): sometime during the last 7 years, the Material Design table-related CSS stuff (eg. table-responsive-vertical and table-striped) was changed or removed so a page in my app looks like complete shit.
Which is perfectly acceptable, of course - 7 years in JS is like a million years in human.
What's NOT acceptable is that I can't find how to update this anywhere. It's like nothing ever existed and nobody ever used tables.

I worked for Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, French overseas collectivity.
* I created the #application pages based on the #design. #webdev
* I designed the #API and the #data_model. #fullstack
* and I deployed test and production versions using gitlab CL/CI. #devopsWith #ionicframework and #angular for #android #ios and #web.
I'm pretty proud to see it in production ☺️

I am looking for a talented Capacitor and/or Cordova plugin developer to create a camera plugin for a project. It’s straightforward and has clear requirements already laid out by our developer. DMs are open if you or someone you know is interested. #Ionicframework #Capacitor

@ukuli @rolle @kallekn @bhasic jep. Sama.
Viimeiset projektit tosin oli #Laravel:ia ja #Symfony:a höystettynä #Angular:lla ja #IonicFramework:lla joten aika kaukana WPstä jo silloinkin.

Use the #IonicFramework PWA Elements package to run your #capacitorjs apps on the browser with the same code as they run natively

One thing that gets me really excited about #webcomponents is the ability to change course.
I had a project written in #vanillajs , but that was a pain, so I started writing new code using #webcomponents . But that was still a pain, so I decided to write any new components using #litelement .
For my next project I’m thinking about using #hauntedjs and #ionicframework , but there’s peace of mind knowing that if I don’t like it I can go back to #litelement or #vanillajs .

Any #ionicframework devs able to vouch for how it handles 3rd party code?
I just skimmed the documentation, and I’m really interested in what I’ll call “ui components” (Buttons, headers, menus, etc.)
“Layout components” (grid, routing) are bringing back PTSD of bad experiences with bootstrap and mobile development
If I treat ionic like a component library mixed into an otherwise bog-standard web app, will I be punished for it?
-
#ionicframework is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. Not because it lets web devs write native apps— #progressivewebapps in app stores have filled that niche for me—but a #webcomponent library that implements native components, switching styles based on the user agent, is SO COOL

Long-time front line software engineer needs to slow it down. Looking to transition to a new role in #softwaredevelopment for #remotework. My background is diverse but, in recent years: consulting, lead instructor, #fullstack web and mobile app development. Part-time, hourly ok!

@schizanon Yeah, deity knows there's enough of those floating around. I'm looking specifically at #ionicframework both for the native integrations, as well as simply using #css for layout (which I'm really good at), vs learning another layout system just for the sake of being "native". Also, one thing I'm keen on is having the option to use apps without an account, maybe storing data locally in a #sqlite db, with the ability to cloud sync #joplin style with the provider of your choice? IDK 🤷🏻♂️

@ChrisBoren please don't make apps that can be websites

I think i want to start making small simple utility apps for iOS and android as a side hustle. Maybe $1.99 annually for premium features? $1.99 to buy the app outright? Idk - does anyone know of a blog or YouTube channel with a similar journey for simple (yet polished) apps? Most data I’m seeing is for games.
Since it’s a side hustle I’ll probably be using Ionic and React since it’s adjacent to my daily tech stack.

The only big thing left to address is share-sheet integration, which I still am completely clueless how to achieve with #IonicFramework or #CapacitorJS. I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually.
Also the code is a bit of a mess and could use some refactoring, but that's always true.

I've released the first major update to #LinkThing: now you can add bookmarks! It even supports clipboard detection so it can pull a URL from your clipboard and auto-fill the metadata.
-
#LinkThing is now available: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/linkthing/id1666031776
I built an #iOS app for #linkding using #IonicFramework. It's very nice and simple. If you use linkding, give it a try!
-
@stroughtonsmith I'll #showcase LinkThing, a simple client app for linkding (a self-hosted bookmark manager). Built with #IonicFramework, someday I'll actually release it.
-
An update on #LinkThing (my work in progress #linkding app): it now supports infinite scrolling, toggling read/unread via swipes, and basic editing. #IonicFramework (with #react) is really a joy to work with.
I still need to support deleting and searching. I also want some way to surface the info that linkding scrapes from URL on the edit page. But it’s coming along nicely.

I’ve wanted to make a #pinboard app for a long time now, but the API was always so weird and there was always a promise of a new API soon (I still don’t think it’s out). #linkding is nice and self-hosted but lacks an iOS app. So I threw something together with #ionicframework and I think this will be a fun side project for me. I’m calling it LinkThing.

Does anyone know if Ionic made it to the Fediverse?

Ok so I guess I should add my #introduction.
