hi, I'm Dune, aka nofunoverlord. we've had this username for at least 6 or 7 years, starting on twitter and twitch (neither of which I'm on anymore), and moving to bsky for the last 2.5 years or so (which I've been banned from)

we're 38, trans, therian furry, plural, disabled, AuDHD, and a sexworker

we've been out as trans for 7 or 8 years, and on hrt for almost 6. we are a non-binary trans woman, and a pan-attracted aroace lesbian

we're huge advocates of online accessibility, so you will probably see us writing threads about it. we usually try to stay respectful and educational about it, but sometimes we can be sassy lol. i will not interact with inaccessible toots

we live in Canada, making northern Alberta our home. so you'll probably see me complaining about those governments

we like board & card games, with Coup and Dominion being our faves. you'll catch us playing video games a lot, mostly on Steam. we like everything (except souls games, and anything produced by EA especially), but are exceptionally bad at video games so if we ever stream you'll see us die a lot

I'm snakebites-and-ink, or snakebites_and_ink depending on the username limitations of the site I'm on. I'm not sharing my real name, so you can call me my username, part of it, or any derivative of it. My pronouns are He/Him and I'm aroace. I'm a young adult. My interests include (but certainly aren't limited to): biology, especially marine biology, dragons, fantasy in general, animals, anything that makes me laugh, creative work, especially writing, and whump.

For those who might not know, essentially whump is hurting or otherwise badly messing with a fictional character and optionally comforting them after. Enjoying it has nothing to do with what we'd want in real life, it just makes for interesting fiction. The main reason I made my tumblr account was to join the whump community, so whump will likely make up an especially large portion of what I post. A few of my favorite tropes are conditioning/brainwashing, pet whump, living weapon whump, and carewhumpers.

I'm an amateur writer slowly working on improving. Here's my masterlist, which has links to my whump writing.

I'm also on Tumblr, which is my main social media. Here's my blog. :) I'm more active there, and have more stuff up if you'd like to check it out.
