Hello!

I'm snakebites-and-ink, or snakebites_and_ink depending on the username limitations of the site I'm on. I'm not sharing my real name, so you can call me my username, part of it, or any derivative of it. My pronouns are He/Him and I'm aroace. I'm a young adult. My interests include (but certainly aren't limited to): biology, especially marine biology, dragons, fantasy in general, animals, anything that makes me laugh, creative work, especially writing, and whump.

For those who might not know, essentially whump is hurting or otherwise badly messing with a fictional character and optionally comforting them after. Enjoying it has nothing to do with what we'd want in real life, it just makes for interesting fiction. The main reason I made my tumblr account was to join the whump community, so whump will likely make up an especially large portion of what I post. A few of my favorite tropes are conditioning/brainwashing, pet whump, living weapon whump, and carewhumpers.

I'm an amateur writer slowly working on improving. Here's my masterlist, which has links to my whump writing.

I'm also on Tumblr, which is my main social media. Here's my blog. :) I'm more active there, and have more stuff up if you'd like to check it out.
