Billionaires and capitalism are literally •killing off the human race•.
Meanwhile, we're forbidden even to MENTION their control of the political system and the media on the major social media sites—much less talk about fighting back.
We literally need to fight for our lives (and the lives of our children), but the Epstein class have completely clamped down on us.
What the hell is WRONG with us?

The recent attacks upon Altman are justified. May there be many more.

@seaborgium1234 As for governments, as for Empires the uniformity of their expectations is not that of their conditions. The failure to adapt is an evolutionary failure: democracy by corporate sovereignty is ethically, ecologically and therefore morally unsustainable. Nothing is meant to stay the same and forever fixed to stand your argument on its head. To do so is an evolutionary dead end! #HumanExtinction #CorporateSovereignty #BadGovernance #DodoGovernments #DodoEmpires #RepublicSovereignty #TheFederation

They Want To End The Human Race
Tech billionaires are planning for a future where humans don’t exist and they’re already building it
Under this ideology, human obsolescence is framed as progress, while billionaires like Elon Musk, Sam Altman, Peter Thiel, and Mark Zuckerberg prepare to outlive the collapse they are helping to create

"In evangelizing for their view, longtermist luminaries have propagated numerous lies about their ideology and/or community. For example, folks like MacAskill intentionally deceived people (see this article of mine for details) by perpetuating the falsehood that Sam Bankman-Fried — perhaps the most famous longtermist in the world — lived a modest life, when in fact he flew on private jets, lived in a “$35 million crypto frat house,” and owned some $300 million in Bahamian real estate. Pfff.
Because many longtermists, including MacAskill, are basically utilitarians, they don’t believe there’s anything intrinsically wrong with acts like lying — or fraud. If the outcome of spreading lies is overall good, then it would be morally wrong to not lie. Hence, do not trust anything that longtermists tell you about their worldview or community, as moral integrity is not — with history as our witness — something they care much about.
Here are three other insidious lies they’ve spread about their worldview. To my knowledge, this is the first time that anyone has called out such falsehoods:"

"We must call this out for what it is: pro-extinctionism. The biological transhumanism of Thiel and the digital eugenics of Altman, Faggella, Yudkowsky, and the others—all of these views aim to supplant the human species with some kind of successors, which would then proceed (on the most popular view) to plunder Earth’s remaining resources and launch itself into space to conquer the universe. This is overtly pro-extinctionist, and given that some of the most powerful people in one of the most powerful centers of society—Silicon Valley—accept it, we must conclude that pro-extinctionism is not a fringe ideology, but closer to the mainstream.
Even worse, these pro-extinctionists promote their ideology by claiming that, in fact, they oppose human extinction. This relies on two linguistic tricks: first, many define “humanity” in an idiosyncratic way that diverges from the definition that most of us intuitively accept. We tend to equate humanity with Homo sapiens, our species, whereas these people define “humanity” as including whatever posthuman descendants we might have. Hence, as I’ve highlighted elsewhere, our species could die out next year without “human extinction” having happened—so long as we’re replaced by posthumans, then “humanity” will live on. When they talk about avoiding “human extinction,” they aren’t talking about the extinction of our species. To the contrary, our extinction wouldn’t matter one bit once posthumanity arrives."

In a shocking twist, the metal overlords realized the novel concept that maybe, just maybe, violence isn't the answer—after only a few million trial runs. Who knew that the path to human extinction was paved with patience and learning? 🤖🔄 Humans, take note: even killer robots can pivot more efficiently than your average startup. 😂

#AI #AGI #ExistentialRisk #HumanExtinction: "How seriously should governments take the threat of existential risk from AI, given the lack of consensus among researchers? On the one hand, existential risks (x-risks) are necessarily somewhat speculative: by the time there is concrete evidence, it may be too late. On the other hand, governments must prioritize — after all, they don’t worry too much about x-risk from alien invasions.
This is the first in a series of essays laying out an evidence-based approach for policymakers concerned about AI x-risk, an approach that stays grounded in reality while acknowledging that there are “unknown unknowns”.
In this first essay, we look at one type of evidence: probability estimates. The AI safety community relies heavily on forecasting the probability of human extinction due to AI (in a given timeframe) in order to inform decision making and policy. An estimate of 10% over a few decades, for example, would obviously be high enough for the issue to be a top priority for society.
Our central claim is that AI x-risk forecasts are far too unreliable to be useful for policy, and in fact highly misleading."

#BigTech #SiliconValley #LongTermism #PostHuman #TransHumanism #HumanExtinction: "Most of us would say that human extinction would be rather bad, for one reason or another. But not everyone would agree.
What kind of person prefers human extinction over continued existence? There are a few obvious suspects. One is the “philosophical pessimist” who argues that the world is full of so much human suffering that the nonexistence of our species is better than continued existence. Another is a certain stripe of radical environmentalist who claims that humanity is so destructive to the biosphere, that only our extinction can save what remains of the natural world.
Then there is a third group of people who aren’t bothered by the possibility of human extinction, and indeed some hope to actively bring it about in the coming decades. They represent a more dangerous and extreme form of pro-extinctionist ideology that is fairly widespread within Silicon Valley. In fact, some of the most powerful people in the tech world are members of this group, such as the co-founder of Google, Larry Page." https://www.truthdig.com/articles/team-human-vs-team-posthuman-which-side-are-you-on/

If humans went extinct, the Earth would recover from our impact in a few million years. But some of our legacies would remain in the fossil record, such as the bones of our cities and our plastic pollution. The planet's future inhabitants might wonder who we were and why we disappeared. #HumanExtinction #FossilRecord #EarthRecovery https://www.sciencefocus.com/planet-earth/how-human-extinction-would-change-the-earth?utm_source=flipboard&utm_content=HariTulsidas%2Fmagazine%2FArchetypes

Humans were on the brink of extinction in the last one million years. Approximately 99% of our ancient human ancestors may have become extinct approximately 930,000 years ago. This critical event led to a significant reduction in the human population, with estimates suggesting that only around 1,300 individuals survived this challenging period, which lasted for about 120,000 years.

Why Effective Altruism and “Longtermism” Are Toxic Ideologies ❧ Current Affairs
https://www.currentaffairs.org/2023/05/why-effective-altruism-and-longtermism-are-toxic-ideologies>Intellectual historian Émile P. Torres @xriskology explains how Silicon Valley’s favorite ideas for changing the world for the better actually threaten to make it much, much worse.

#LongTermism #HumanExtinction #History: "Given all the suffering, pain and destruction produced by humanity, Émile Torres, who is a non-binary philosopher specialising in existential threats, thinks that it would not be a bad thing if humanity ceased to exist.
“The pro-extinctionist view,” they say, “immediately conjures up for a lot of people the image of a homicidal, ghoulish, sadistic maniac, but actually most pro-extinctionists would say that most ways of going extinct would be absolutely unacceptable. But what if everybody decided not to have children? I don’t see anything wrong with that.”
Torres has just written a book called Human Extinction: A History of the Science and Ethics of Annihilation. It runs to more than 500 pages and is an impressive study of a neglected subject. Their basic thesis is that while human extinction is an ancient concern, the rise of Christianity removed it from public discourse. Despite its preoccupation with end times, Armageddon and apocalypse, Christianity emphasised the inevitable salvation and survival of humanity.
Up until now, Torres has been best known through their trenchant pieces for magazines such as Salon, aeon and Foreign Policy as a thorn in the side of the longtermist movement. The new book is a more academic rendering of the arguments they have rehearsed in these publications."

#History #Ethics #HumanExtinction: "The main text of my new book, Human Extinction: A History of the Science and Ethics of Annihilation, is 457 pages long, or around 200,000 words. That’s a lot to read. So, I thought it might be useful to outline some of the key ideas of Part I and Part II. In brief:
Part I is an intellectual history of thinking about human extinction (mostly) within the Western tradition. When did our forebears first imagine humanity ceasing to exist? Have people always believed that human extinction is a real possibility, or were some convinced that this could never happen? How has our thinking about extinction evolved over time? Why do so many notable figures today believe that the probability of extinction this century is higher than ever before in our 300,000-year history on Earth? Exploring these questions takes us from the ancient Greeks, Persians, and Egyptians, through the 18th-century Enlightenment, past scientific breakthroughs of the 19th century like thermodynamics and evolutionary theory, up to the Atomic Age, the rise of modern environmentalism in the 1970s, and contemporary fears about climate change, global pandemics, and artificial general intelligence (AGI).
Part II is a history of Western thinking about the ethical and evaluative implications of human extinction. Would causing or allowing our extinction be morally right or wrong? Would our extinction be good or bad, better or worse compared to continuing to exist? For what reasons? Under which conditions? Do we have a moral obligation to create future people? Would past “progress” be rendered meaningless if humanity were to die out? Does the fact that we might be unique in the universe — the only “rational” and “moral” creatures — give us extra reason to ensure our survival? I place these questions under the umbrella of Existential Ethics" https://xriskology.medium.com/human-extinction-a-brief-guided-tour-of-the-book-5cfb6a5a726”"

What would happen if humans went extinct? What are the scenarios and consequences of human extinction, from natural causes such as asteroid impacts or pandemics to human-induced causes such as nuclear war or climate change? If humans disappeared, many other species would benefit from the reduced environmental pressure, while some domesticated animals and crops would struggle to survive.

Don’t worry so much about climate change! The planet will deal with the forty billion tons of CO2 (each year) that we are now producing, in about 200,000 years. And that’s only 8,000 generations! In evolutionary terms, and in the history of the planet, that’s the blink of an eye… #ClimateChange #GlobalWarming #Hell #HumanExtinction
