Поменял в сервере китайский PCE8SAT-M01 на Broadcom 9600-24i.

Теперь один контроллер обслуживает весь бэкплейн и вся морда сервера функциональна.

Пока это делал - всё пошло не по плану. И PiKVM сломался при недавнем обновлении и перестал стримить картинку, и я забыл, что не включил в ядре модуль mpi3mr.

Потратил несколько часов на расследование несуществующей проблемы.

Но в итоге разобрался: сервер загружен, рейды поднялись.

Как будто теперь сервер менее кустарный.

I figured there may have been some issue with mixed drives, the expander, perhaps slow drives ~ resulting in (recoverable) resets.

Based on the gold colouring on the 9300, probably actually overheating.
