The Boy Maeve spotted at The Hobart Book Shop!
I've never visited Hobart without popping into The Hobart Bookshop at least once (and usually leaving with at least one book) and so while I'm not there to see it in person, it's quite the buzz to hear that The Boy Maeve is currently sitting in a rather prominent position in their YA section!

I had some time before the chess started today so I took a walk in the Botanical Gardens. I think Hobart Botanical Gardens is my favourite. I love Sydney, and Singapore was fantastic, though I didn't like the heat. I didn't really enjoy Melbourne Botanical Gardens so much even though I spent quite a bit of time walking there.
My favourite place in Hobart Botanical Gardens is the herb garden and my favourite spot is a lemon verbena which sits next to a mass of Pineapple Scented Sage.
