Me: Xenoblade X main city hub has a lot of open space with construction hanging over a moat and a water treatment plant right next to the cathedral. I think during the crash much more of the city collapsed into the moat than people like to talk about, and that during the pregame period, cleaning that moat was bad bad bad.

If I could choose one collaboration between 2 franchises regardless how unrealistic, it would be Xenoblade X and Stargate SG1.

The 2014 treehouse livestream of Xenoblade X is really interesting to look at because they showed nearly the entire class tree.
There are a bunch of changes relating to Arts. Not all blue Arts are TP Arts, some unlock order differences, 2 unused Arts/icons...
And the starting Drifter class has none of its own Arts. It's all other Knife and Assault Rifle Arts but those are also shown at the other classes that normally have them.

It would be cool if Monolith tried the Division concept in Xenoblade X again but actually make them meaningful in gameplay.
I think the biggest problem was that the activities of them just aren't equal in terms of gameplay.
Combat is way more sophisticated than anything else which is probably why nearly all of them gave increased combat stats as their bonus and not effects related to their actual activity.

I just realized how Elma's playstyle is completely unsuited against Void because she really wants to be behind the enemy for bonus damage from some arts and that one skill.
But you can't attack him from behind (or from the sides) at all.

The unfortunate consequence of Lao being designed to be fought on-foot is that I nowadays fight all bosses without Skells anyway so there is a massive drop in difficulty between Vita and Lao.

Monolith technically has it so easy to please Xenoblade X fans in Xenoblade Genesis.
They just have to randomly throw the word "Samaar" in the script once and we will all act like they have solved world hunger.

The actual story reason why you can't assign Skells to your party members at the beginning even though only Cross doesn't have a license is that they don't want Cross to feel left out.
Except H.B., he just wants to prove that he is better than them.

I just thought about how the end of Mira would've been much more impactful if chapter 13 had been a later story DLC for the original Wii U version like it was for 2 and 3.
The reason being that there would've been a forced pause between chapter 12 and 13 and the player was more likely to do more side content that are about making Mira one's home before going through chapter 13.

Another brief theory I had about the elves is that they could be belonging to Elma's race.
However, from what we saw, all of them have human skin colors and not that greenish tone Elma's true body has.

Besides that, can't really say much about the brief story bits that we got. Didn't spike my interest yet.
