    I’m amazed how well my older computers function years after their release.

    I have a #MSI GS43VR 6RE Phantom Pro from 2016 (7 years!) that’s STILL a powerhouse. I don’t know if this shows how poweful this machine was when it came out, how little progress has been made in machines since its release, or how software has improved over time. Maybe it’s a combination of the three.

    I’ve installed #NixOS on it with #Gnome44 and it simply screams.

    I look forward to seeing the completed PR for Gnome Software with the Open Source software only filter. 😁

    It will be a big improvement brought by Gnome 44 and going back to promoting all the great Free Software available instead of the often insecure and buggy closed source alternatives. 💪
