After trying it out for a few days, I have to say that the WAFRN Android app is already a better experience than using the WordPress app, and rivaling Tumblr's app in terms of simplicity, minimizing clicks to get to where you need to be, and trounces both in terms of aesthetics.

I'm seriously impressed, y'all. Well done!

Yesterday I returned (shipped) the #pixel watch leather band because I ordered the wrong size.

This morning, I got the refund and placed another order for the correct size of the watch band.

Got a really generous care-package from Nivea today after having spoken to their customer service over email.

I had bought a bunch of their green rice scrub (with the new design), since I loved the old version, but apparently they've now updated the formular and made it more effective. After some back and forth (when we figured out that this change, that I had percieved as a fault, actually was an intended feature) she recommended the milder versions of the rice scrub and offered to send me some so that I could try them instead.

Today I recieved a package with not only those but three extra goodies to try out. Honestly, I'm so impressed - not only with how generous this is (after all, technically they weren't in the wrong) but also with the entire customer service experience. Being used to chat-robots and convoluted self-help FAQs, it is startlingly novel to get to talk to an actual human being - you know, one who actually reads your questions and clearly gives a damn.

PS. The pink rice scrub smells devine! I can definitely recommend.

I'm #impressed by what it accomplishes; it is quite the #feat, and not totally #obvious at first glance.

But it means that little control module is really quite #complicated, and is a dense little #blob of high-power circuitry. It would be expensive enough just for that.

But it's much, much worse.

Because the #control #module is #programmable.

I’m amazed how well my older computers function years after their release.

I have a #MSI GS43VR 6RE Phantom Pro from 2016 (7 years!) that’s STILL a powerhouse. I don’t know if this shows how poweful this machine was when it came out, how little progress has been made in machines since its release, or how software has improved over time. Maybe it’s a combination of the three.

I’ve installed #NixOS on it with #Gnome44 and it simply screams.
