This morning I got a message on Wikipedia saying "Eat the chicken" in Spanish.
In Spanish this is "Cómete el pollo"
I think I am being called fascist. But I am not sure, I think I know what prompted it. But In my humble opinion I shouldn't have. But it was presented to me out of context and anonymously, so I can't be sure. Has anybody heard the expression before?

The #MarMenor lagoon in SE Spain has been polluted to the point of making it unsafe to bathe in. The marine ecology is screwed. Damage has crept up over the last ~30 years & is mostly down to overintensive farming on the #CampoDeCartagena plain. Tipping point has just been reached & now intensive farming in the lagoon's watershed is banned. What to do with the land? Surely #solarfarms would be ideal? Not according to the #facha #vox party.

I always thought fascists wore brown or black shirts, perhaps with red accents.
Not so. Here in Spain the extreme right wing like navy blue, although the bright red accents continue.

Oh my word. Vox surprises me almost daily with their absurdities. They are the textbook example of populist neo-fascist party that we see all over Europe these days. They hijack national flags as their own exclusive property as if to suggest all other political parties are traitors.
We need more history lessons in schools, with a LOT of time on 1930s Germany and Spain 1939-1975.
