The #MarMenor lagoon in SE Spain has been polluted to the point of making it unsafe to bathe in. The marine ecology is screwed. Damage has crept up over the last ~30 years & is mostly down to overintensive farming on the #CampoDeCartagena plain. Tipping point has just been reached & now intensive farming in the lagoon's watershed is banned. What to do with the land? Surely #solarfarms would be ideal? Not according to the #facha #vox party.

This morning I got a message on Wikipedia saying "Eat the chicken" in Spanish.
In Spanish this is "Cómete el pollo"
I think I am being called fascist. But I am not sure, I think I know what prompted it. But In my humble opinion I shouldn't have. But it was presented to me out of context and anonymously, so I can't be sure. Has anybody heard the expression before?
